2021 Six-Piece Morgan & Peace Dollar Set NGC MS70 Advance Release – Edmund C. Moy Signatures – MDS Labels

This complete six-piece type set was issued for the 100th anniversary of both the iconic Morgan Silver Dollar and the Peace Silver Dollar, two classic and historic coins that were last minted in 1921. This rare low mintage set features five Morgan Silver Dollars issued using original mint parameters from the Philadelphia, Denver, San Francisco, Carson City, and New Orleans mints. The sixth coin that completes the set is a Peace Dollar stuck as the original in high relief! The Advance Release coins have a low mintage of only 17,500 coins for each Morgan Dollar and only 20,000 for the Peace Dollar, making each coin an absolute U.S. Mint rarity. All six-coins have been individually hand sighed by Edmund C. Moy, the 38th Director of the United States Mint 2006-2011, he was in charge of the world’s largest organization that manufacturer coins and medals.

Edmund C. Moy, the 38th Director of the U.S. Mint, and David J Ryder, 39th Director of the U.S. Mint are individually autographing labels for Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC®), under an exclusive arrangement. Moy served from 2006 to 2011, and Ryder served as both 34th and 39th 1992 to 1993 and returned to the position from 2018-2021. Both men were named in Coin World’s Most Influential People (1960-2020). Coins are graded on the Sheldon numeric grading scale of 1 to 70. To achieve the top grade 70, a coin must have no post-production imperfections at 5x magnification. The coins in this magnificent collection are the first and only Morgan & Peace dollars to ever be certified in perfect MS70 condition. Each NGC-certified coin also has the coveted ADVANCE RELEASE  designation and is individually hand-signed by Edmund C. Moy, 38th Director of the United States Mint. The Moy signature is one of the most desirable in all of numismatics.
