The Queen’s Beasts Collection is a coin program struck to honor Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II who became the world’s longest-reigning monarch in 2016. The program debuted that same year with captivating designs of the heraldic statues that “stood guard” over Her Majesty’s coronation in 1953. Each coin was struck in gold, silver, and platinum. This year contains the final release: the White Greyhound of Richmond. This specific animal stands to showcase the merger between the rival houses of York and Lancaster.
